in a way, but remember that it will be another Google device, meaning it will get first shot at software upgrades. Also there's no lag (like the galaxy S phones) and it has NFC technology.

If you already have a galaxy S maybe no reason to upgrade, but if I was going to choose between the two, I'd take this any day of the week.
