Actually the name of the phone is Wave, the software is called Bada and it was officially unveiled on the 14th at MWC

While I like the little bit I have seen of Bada, the smartphone OS market is getting a little crowded. I don't see motorola/htc/lg/nokia/sony picking up this OS, and putting it on their phones. We will only see this on Samsung smartphones, which don't seem to sell as well here in the US, compared to other smartphone manufacturers.

yeah i was kind of figuring this one was going to die a slow, painful death. most analysts have stated that the market won't support 6 smartphone platforms let alone 7 or 8 and there isn't going to be any incentive for other manufacturers to pick it up with Android running around for free, and i'm sure samsung won't be willing to license Bada for nothing
