i would like to announce that we made it to 10,000 members a few dasy ago.

Hasn't been mentioned probably because that number is a bit inflated. There's likely several thousand porn and spam registrations included in that number. From looking through the memberlist I would estimate that actual active members on here is around 2000 (users that have at least 1 post). The rest are just lurkers (probably around 1500 of those MAYBE) and porn/spam bots (you can tell by looking at the WebSite column and the amount of these seems to be over 5000 from my assumptions...)

well ur not all wrong. I do say theres a lot of spammers registered but a lot of ppl really have websites. I check periodically. Anyways since ur here and all....know of a way to stop all registrations with .info email addys? And purge the database of the same?

Sure...add *.info to the Banned e-mails list in admin and run the following query on the database:

DELETE FROM phpbb_users WHERE user_email LIKE '%.info';
DELETE FROM phpbb_user_group
WHERE user_id NOT IN (SELECT user_id FROM phpbb_users);

David I had tried that before and just tried it and it didn't add that to the banned list. I will remove thos spammers soon also.
