FTP Issues
 

Hey, is it just me or everyone else? I am trying to download cooked roms for the touch but most all roms are ftp thru ppcgeeks and they start but end shortly. So i never complete a full download. The roms on shareware download sites or other places work flawlessly. So is it just ppcgeeks ftp thats doing this? Just so you test try to download Dereks rom for the Touch.. and see what I mean.

I haven't downloaded anything today but it was working fine yesterday.

What FTP app are you using?

yep been trying to get jd lite rom and stops at like 3 megs

Thank the cheese gods! I thought it was my IP provider cracking down on me. Well.. i least I know its the ppcgeeks fts links. They need to fix because I cant download nothing.

I have contacted the provider... they suggest switching it to sftp, which I don't want to do just yet. I am asking them to look at different solutions, so hopefully they come up with something better quickly.

Is anyone still having problems? I just downloaded the same file that I tried to do yesterday. It failed then, but it works now. I downloaded it on two different ISPs, so hopefully the problem is resolved. Let me know.
