PPCGeeks boycott??

Apparently someone over at SU got mad at someone here and decided to start a boycott. Didn't get to far with that one:

Its from december but it wasn't that long ago

what a cry baby...Are you serious.

Im not sure why a guy with an iphone would be here in the first place. And I would agree the iphone is a status symbol. Similar to Escalades and Navigators.

while i agree that i iphone is a status icon some people will think that the iphone is better because of its status even if you point out that it is not a 3g phone, get get an extended battery, etc! This reminds me of some kid i went to high school with in the late 1980's that said a toyota celica GT with a digital dash is better then my Toyota Celica GT-S which is a higher trim level! My Celica had sun roof, top of the line seats, 7 speaker preium sound system. About the only thing it did not have was power windows and door locks and a digital dash. I still hate digital dash today!

I know who that is, I won't say the username.

That user was in different issues, but the one that caused the ban was that, after other users did not agree with him, he created another account to post on the same thread to give himself support.

That's the gist of it... there were many other things.

Anyway, I hope he is happy over at SU. If he really thinks that by posting a thread like that somewhere else he is going to hurt us, he is wrong. But everyone is entitled to their opinion...

Oh well... the thread was dead as of 12/11/07 but someone made a post there today. If it's anyone from here, I'd just recommend and ask to let the thread die... that sends a stronger message by saying, "nobody cares what you think". Until today, that thread was active for exactly 1 day, so that should tell you enough ;)

Haha. it's almost like advertising for ppcgeeks. (posts #13-14 or so) and everyone seems to be defending ppcgeeks. sucks for him

I think I came across it on google. I do frequent xda's "Development and Hacking" thread though. I just don't post that much
