My visitor messages are working.....what browser are you using? I use FF and the only problem I have is the top ad sticking a little bit. Not too bad though.

Re: The New PPCGeeks.com 2/25/10

I'm using Opera 10 (beta) on my phone right now. I just got the notification that you left me a message but earlier today I wasn't getting them at all...strange. Or maybe I am just mad whacked since they seem to be working now...damn maybe I am getting senile already...or that dementia thing...

And damn skippy we are happy and satisfied! As I have said before PPCGeeks is one of...if not THE most fantastic, user friendly, community oriented sites around! Proud to be a Geek...or is it a Geekette in our case?

Re: The New PPCGeeks.com 2/25/10

That's what PPCGeeks is known for and we work hard to keep it that way.

The new site look is being recognized by other phone sites out there. They love it too and are tweeting it for us as well as announcing on their sites. :) Lovely!

oh and Geekette sounds really really sweet!

Did you resize the original post? It was taking up my whole screen and more now it's not....but I don't see that you have hit edit. Weird...

Re: The New PPCGeeks.com 2/25/10

I had to disable the MyForum plugin because it was causing issues with the Social Groups. Unfortunately the plugin isn't really supported anymore, but hopefully there will be a fix for it so we can bring it back.

Re: The New PPCGeeks.com 2/25/10

Yay! Now the social groups work again. Thanks Frosty ;)

Re: The New PPCGeeks.com 2/25/10

Why does the site become so laggy when you press ctrl + and make it bigger. Scrolling becomes almost unusable. Tried this on several computers and it lags even on my quad core desktop. Never had this happen on any other website I have ever visited. What causes this?

GirlGoneGeek 03-31-2010 02:37 AM

Re: The New PPCGeeks.com 2/25/10

What browser is it doing this to you in? I'm using FF and can go two sizes larger on my laptop with no problems.

muyoso 03-31-2010 02:58 AM

Re: The New PPCGeeks.com 2/25/10

Chrome is my main browser. Does the same thing in Firefox and Opera though, although to a SLIGHTLY lesser extent. Its like the scrolling is about 500ms behind the actual scrolling on my mouse and even then its jumpy. Does the same thing when I hit the up arrows or the page up or page down keys. Its really weird. This is the only site I have ever had it happen on, and only after the redesign.

We have a huge thread about this from when the site changes took place. As far as I know they fixed as much as possible. Here :) Hope this helps!

Yeah, its probably due to the fixed background image. You can try one of the fluid styles and see if that helps.
