Droid for 149.00

Sears was selling them for $150 also. Never would have thought to look in Sears to buy a cell phone.

Can I trust Wirefly.com? Is this considered an authorized retailer or how can I buy this phone and resign a verizon contract when it is not directly at verizon? Is this going to have a 30 day trial like if I bought it instore?

im wondering the same hear...

i still havent picked one up, but i dont wanna pay wirefly to recieve only a phone and battery and have a note attached saying, "everything else sold seperatly"

I've heard of wirefly, but have never purchased anything there. It's definitely not an unbelievable price though. Sears is offering the same and WalMart sold it for 188.00. I would assume the account upgrade would work just like it does through BestBuy.

im just gonna play it safe and go to Sears....50 bucks is a big save for me ATM...i just hope they have them at the sears i go too...

From what I heard this deal is for new Verizon customers only. Or maybe new contracts only? Anyone know if that's correct?

I think I remember reading something about the Sears offer being for new contracts, not sure about wirefly, but it makes sense that it would be the same.

I just checked on the Sears website. The 149.99 price is indeed for a NEW contract with Verizon, however, if you are an existing customer you may renew your contract and get it for 179.99.

Just logged into my verizon account and the price listed to upgrade to the droid is 149.99$ with a two year contract after 100$ online discount and 50$ New Every Two Discount.
