Changing ringtone for text
Anyone know how to do this?
If I change the following: Menu > Settings > Sound and Display > Notification Ringtone it's only for email. Nothing for text...Am I missing that setting? All I get hear when I get a text is a dinky 1 second ding. I was also wondering if I can tweak the length of the vibration or set it to repeat or something. I'll have my sitting on my desk and I won't even hear it vibrate since it's so light. Anyone?

Re: Changing ringtone for text
Open Messaging, Click Menu, Then set notification.
I'd recommend Chomp SMS. Lot better than the default messaging app

Re: Changing ringtone for text
Chomp is not as good as Handcent SMS
Handcent is HIGHLY customizeable. Actually, its too customizeable. Chomp only has the default bubbles style. It looks lame to me. I like basic and easy. There are some other settings i use in handcent, but i dont recall what there are. There are like 30-50 options on here. it crazy.
