verizon mms fixed

ok im at work and as of 9/30/07 i think i have a solution for the problem of sending picture messages with arcsoft software...im quite of a noob with this but i have done some hacking on the xv 6700 and the PPC 6700..i only performed this only on the xv6700 which is verizon..so here goes...lately i only been able to recieve pics from carriers but could not send them as a result i have tried different methods from updating rom, trying different mms softwar ect ok...it was a simple fix...all i did was add a new modem connection and named them exactly the same..direction below...try it and see if it works...

start menu
settings
connections...conections again
add new modem connection
name the modem connetion "my connection"
go through the process add the dail up number "#777"
leave the name and password blank
click finish

next step
ok under the connection you will see "manage exsisting connection".
click the modem tab
now in the box it will say auto select..."deselect that and select the modem connection you created name my connection"
once you did that select ok

now go to the mms program
go to menu tab..find mms configuration
go to the servers tab..
under server click "new"
fkeep all the info the same as original except the the server name and the connet via all that should be named the same thing."my connection"

and poof...you should be able to send mms pic...havent tried video yet....my instruction are kinda off cuz im at work but when i get to a computer i will go into detail....let me know if this worked

well my mms was working fine I just could not send any pics...I could receive them fine...but as far as me taking a picture of myself and sending it to some one was out of the question..but it sends just fine now and recieves...matter fact its faster than before...I never said that it just didn't work at all...only half.

doing this requires the data plan doesnt it? because I'd love to do the MMS but I dont carry the data plan.

verizon 6700 wont send mms picture messages

i have never had any problems with my phone. i know that the ROM and Radio versions are old and i need to upgrade but dont want to brick my phone in and attempt to hard reset it.

so a few weeks ago i went to send a picture msg to someone and it came back with this notification:

media message notification. message delivery failed. or message receipt failed.

i figured it was nothing and it just needed a soft reset. long story short, 3 weeks later i still cant send pix msgs. i can recieve them just fine but i cant send any.

i called verizon wireless last week and they told me that the only solution is to hard reset the phone, but i really dont want to lose all my contacts and programs. plus im running windows vista and am not sure if its sync program actually saved my contacts.

what should i do?

i did try doing quite a few searches but couldnt find anything that satisfied my problem.
