Slow Browser

I'm really dissappointed with the slow load times of pages with the browser. I don't feel like it's any faster than my Touch Pro was. I'm in Orlando with good signal and even on WiFi it seems slow.

Are there any tricks out there to speed it up? What about other browsers to install?

Re: Slow Browser

Have you disabled flash? Menu/more/settings. Then scroll all the way to the bottom and unchecked "enable plug-ins. If you want to speed it up more you can also disable javascript.

Re: Slow Browser

Try Opera Mini. It is super fast with load times.

Re: Slow Browser

Or you can always download opera mini from the market. it uses server side rendering so it should be "faster" but I'm not sure how much functionality you'll sacrifice since I haven't used it personally

Re: Slow Browser

was just checking for opera in the market. sounds like a plan. didn't know unchecking those settings would help. have to try it out. used to opera from TP so might just go that route. thanks!

Re: Slow Browser

The browser on mine seems faster than Opera Mobile on my TP... and in my opinion looks and browses a LOT better. But I'm still in the "new relationship" faze with my phone, lol.
