Price opinion ??

I do not want to get a crazy thread going , but would like to know the opinion of some . I am a TP2 user (and love it) but my son is still using an HTC Touch on Sprint (Vogue) and he wants a new phone.I figure Christmas is good timing . I saw the price online at Sprint forthe Hero at
179.99 after 200 instant savings and the slow 100 mail in rebate. Debating whether that is a
"get it now" type price or if people feel the price will drop or maybe even the Touch will be upgradeable through advance exchange maybe soon. Any thoughts would be appreciated but I am not trying to turn this into a who paid the lowest thread, but using it to gauge whether I should wait til December to buy one. thanks

I doubt it will be avaialble for an AE, Might give you the Diamond, If you want the phone go to Best Buy, They got it for 194.93 after taxes, I have the reciept...lol. The price is very worth it, He will love you until the phone dies, Bc I love my Hero. Very good price for the phone.

Coming from a mogul which at the time I paid 300+ for id say it's a steal at 180

179.99 through BB because of the instant rebate, or a Sprint Store (Most Retail Stores dont require the MIR either), or 279.99 at a third party store with $100 MIR. Gotta love the price, and they defintely wont AE a TP for a Hero. It will probably be a TP2 (have had plenty of those happen lately)
