Problems setting up Exchange on the Sprint Hero
I'm having problems setting up exchange on my new Sprint Hero. I have a hosted exchange account with Sherweb. I have my settings set to the following:

Server Address: webmail.ihostexchange.net
Domain: <my domain>

I'm getting the following error when I try to connect:

"Authentication failed. Please verify username and/or password."

How do I solve my problem?

It appears that the problem is with your username/login maybe you need to use the whole email as your login? Contact your exchange admin, the exchange server can be setup to support several different methods of accessing it.

i finally got mine to work, my case sensitive password was the problem..

I get to keep the Hero, I got exchange working!!!

For my hosted exchange account thru Sherweb I had to set the following values:

Server Address: webmail.ihostexchange.net
Domain: ihost
User Name: <SAM account name>

Now all my emails, contacts, and calendars are on my phone.

Do you have any advice for the pop/imap email? I'm trying to do my yahoo email but it says same error and its not a case sensitive problem, thanks

Last i knew you couldnt just use pop3 for Yahoo without a preinstalled program unless you paid for Yahoo mail.

are you sure? i mean it works at times like it will go through and set up but the second i hit refresh to get new mail it says login error.. and its worked on diamond so idk why it shouldnt here =/ thank though

I tried setting up Yahoo Mail using pop3 and it doesnt work you have to pay for the POP3 access its so lame. Everyone else offers it for free.
