I am planning on switching to vzw and ordering as soon as it hits online. Anyone else ready to get a whitestone?

I don't think there's much excitement here because many of us are already running a higher version of WM than the one that will be announced/released tommorow!

I'd like to get a Whitestone, but not that big a deal to me - seems like an incremental upgrade from my TD. What would excite me is a Leo/HD2 that would be upgradeable to WM7 next year. I'd stand in line to buy that! Don't imagine we'll ever see a CDMA version though.

Not that Sprint has the Whitestone anyway, but I'm not ready to lock into another contract with Sprint given their continued death spiral.

This may be the first time I don't buy a new WM phone soon after release.

oh i don't care about wm6.5... i just want that big screen
been wanting to ditch the slide out keyboard for awhile and with this screen i finally can.

in fact i will miss 6.5.1 and flashing roms since i doubt hspl will be out for awhile.

just ordered online right now 10:30 pm Pacific time. can't wait till it gets here.
btw, it was showing i'm eligible for an upgrade on 12/31/09 but it still went through for 199.99 with 2yr renewal. can't be better than this.

It's out for me as well, but this time I'm waiting until my discount is completely added to the website before ordering. I get it for $180 on a 1 year contract.

I think that if you wait till your upgrade date...you could have gotten this baby for $99 or $149 depending on your current voice plan. I got mine for $149.00 " 299-100(online instant discount) = $199 - 50 (NE2 discount) = $149.99 (free shipping). You might want to call them up and ask about an early renewal and NE2 discount.

thanks. didn't know that. i'll try calling them, but even if it doesn't work that's the cheapest price i've ever got a new ppc anyway.
