TP2 ROMs???

I wonder if since the TP2 is both GSM and CDMA if the custom ROMs will be universal??
That would be awesome! Then we could use the ROMs from here and XDA.

Maybe just wishfull thinkin??

Re: TP2 ROMs???

Everything that goes for the Touch Pro and the Diamond goes for the TP2 and Diamond2. TP2 and Diamond2 are just newer better versions of the older ones so don't expect any new special treatment with these phones. Flashing roms and building roms are going to go down the same as it always has. Each phone has its own special setup.

He OP is asking because the TP2 has a Quad Band GSM/HSDPA chipset coupled with a CDMA/Rev. A Chipset.

Exactly, the TP2 is both GSM and CDMA, so I didnt know if the ROMs would have to be different??

Yeah most likely they will be because the GSM TP2 has it's own GSM chipset that just has international bands I'm assuming, while the CDMA TP2 has a CDMA + GSM Chipset. It's that difference that will make it so that we must use different roms.

Re: TP2 ROMs???

Based on 7200 Chipset is GSM
Based on 7600 Chipset is CDMA/GSM

different drivers, different HSPL, different everything, so it will not work.
