There are not as many benefits for iTouch users I would say. The 3.0 software will made browsing the internet faster on any device however. Apple improved the javascripting in their OS. It's up to you in the end though.

the 3.0 firmware is awesome, and then 3.1 with the MMS finally....that alone is worth upgrading on the iPhone
