I done something stupid

I had my ppc with me the other day and like it always does if I don't lock the keys it started making its radom calls. It called my sister and she could hear me and my wife talking while we were riding in my car. So, she calls my wife and tells us about it. I get mad at it and returned it to Alltel and just got me a regular phone. Now I want my PPC back. Can those things be bought without a phone contract. I want another one and I want internet acces, but I don't want to use it as my phone. Am I making any sense?

About the last question, well sort of. I guess you could start another line of service and use the ppc solely for internet and have your other line for data. Kind of a waste of money though.

yeah but u could have locked it and never ran into this probelm. You can purchase without a contract but its like 599 or so. Hate to say it but u made a mistake imo

Yeah, I knew it was a mistake after I got home and cooled off. It just made me so mad at the time. That's the 3rd. time that my conversations have been listened to with that device. Other than that, I did like it. I may buy me a used one. I just don't want another one to use as a phone.

haha I hear ya....but u could have said something here and we would have helped u fix that, i mean the lock all buttons feature, and/or the today screen lock feature would have stopped this from being an issue.
