youtube and a 6700

this has probably been discussed before, but i looked and didnt see it. i tried to get on youtube via my newly acquired 6700, but it would not play anything. it said to download the flash play, and of course when i got rerouted, and was told there was not one available for my browser. is there something i missed? or an alternative, is there a different site that i am not aware of with close to equal content that my 6700 can utilize?
