Treo Pro (Sprint): What amount of RAM am I supposed to have?

I have 80.54 total program ram and 40.87 in use with 39.67 free.

At the Palm Site the brochures says 128mb and somewhere I read there is ROM update to fix it, but I can't find it and my ram seems very low.

I remember my Treo 800 and 700wx had more ram! I don;t think palm would go backwards.

yeah, mine is that way too, i rememeber hearing something about the RAM being split into 2 chips, and WM cant recognize both chips. not sure where i read this and it may not be true. in any case, i just hope they fix it soon

same situations about 37 or 38 mb, I also heard about the two chip thing.

Honestly, I have yet to have a problem with the RAM amount, and I usually have several things going in the background. That being said, I've only had my Pro for two days so that may change. I think for most average users, it won't be much of an issue, but I imagine some major power users that constantly have stuff running, it could pose a problem.

Actually, if it comes shipped as "128mb RAM", you will only have somewhere around 95mb of RAM. You will never get full use of it, like a 64mb phone only ever gets about 30mb.

i have 41 mb after a softrest and hover around 35 mb have not run into a issue yet. ive gone all the way down to 7 mb and the device still performed fine
