Re: sprint news

ken, i'm like you. been with sprint for 9 years now and i love the underdog! i just hate that you have to threaten to cancel just to get an issue resolved.

Re: sprint news

sprint needs to spend money on Improving/Educating its customer service reps and its obvious billing system issues, not getting exclusive rights on a phone that honestly wont sell that well IMO...atleast it wont on sprint lol

Re: sprint news

chef, we had a discussion about the phone thing maybe 2 weeks ago. i wondered the same as you, why can't sprint get an exclusive phone like the other carriers?( the storm, bold, that junk from crapple, etc.)

Re: sprint news

wasnt ATTs original exclusive contract like 3 yrs for iphone? i know that theyve redone it, and it will only be ATT permanently..

sprint is getting this through the end of 09(as far as current reports speculate), thats gonna amount to what, 7 or 8 months at best? and thats f it actually drops sooner than later..

sprint has a bad history of picking the wrong phones as their "flagship" phones... ill bet in the history of phones, the MOgul is the first phone theyve literally reached End Of Life on.. could be partly dut to high number if insurance claims and such, but still.. Mogul was voted best in 08,period and sprints "flagship" for last year was the Instinct.. they couldnt even wait for the Diamond which wasnt long after i think..

sorry, but the Pre looks cheesy for all the hipe its getting.. no tf3d, no winmo period.. is that what palms os looks like(im guessing a bit updated though).. looks like a jankie Point UI to me... and why a vertical slider? those kind of phone always have tiny keyboards.. i bet this phone goes for 199 with new contract or iff ur full rebate eligible..

Re: sprint news

i agree completely with you chef. i have yet to see any advertising thrown at ANY of sprints' windows phones. they're so screwed up over there that they would advertise the rant thinking everyone was going to say ' i want that!'! if advertising can win the presidency, maybe sprint should take notes.

Re: sprint news

I think the Pre could be a flagship phone for Sprint.

I mean, no one else will have it for a while. Palm has a ton of fans out there, and well, it will be new for a lot of the tech heads.

I might go and try a Pre, but the TouchPro2 looks mighty nice!!
