WM6 UPDATE LEAKED!!!

I'm so happy I could cry...

BE WARNED! Some have reported issues, I have not installed yet. Read here for more info

EDIT: Be careful, and read thoroughly. The ROM has known issues. Battery drain and Internet connectivity are just a couple. I have installed it, but its obvious that this rom is nowhere near as stable as WM5. And I checked the version, it is a beta ROM. Not final release. If you don't have the WM5 ROM to revert back to, then do not try this!

Here is a copy of my review:

My observations in a nutshell.

Install went without a hitch, after a few hours noticed the phone was running VERY HOT, and battery was draining fast. Hard reset and that seemed to fix the problem. I only installed newscopier, slingplayer, and Live Search. And I hard reset AFTER upgrading, so I'm not sure what happened.

After fixing that problem, I woke up this morning with no Internet access. Tried changing the PIE settings, to no avail. Hard reset, put my SIM in my Treo 750 and left.

Overall, I felt the device was a LITTLE slower than before, error reporting is enabled by default (it was disabled by default on both previos ROMS), and I got 3 error messages last night. Since it was disabled before I am not sure if that is unusual, but it should be! Internet speed was the same, all of the apps are the same, and all of the homescreens are the same, with some different background images. That disappointed me a bit. I got Slingplayer to work originally, but after the first hard reset never got it to work again (using the slingplayer dll from xda).

The ROM build is 0.2.0, so this is indeed a BETA WM6, not a final release. So don't get too picky, this wasn't meant for us to begin with. The HTML email and the fact that outlook deletes the messages off the server is enough to keep it on my blackjack. Unless the battery drain issue cannot be resolved.

Anyone else getting the hot phone/battery drain? After the first hard reset I noticed it, but it seemed fine after the 2nd hard reset. Very strange....
