voice command working on custom rom?

can anyone tell me if the custom rom has voice command built in? i would like to be able to get rid of the built in voicecmd and install my own ver. has anyone try this to see if voicecmd finally able to annouce caller names?

There will be a very wide variety of custom ROMs, so this will be up to each individual one.
