700wx coming to Sprint?

This was from over at Sprintusers...

Evidently, at the end of August the Treo 700wx running WM will be coming to Sprint...

why the "x" at the end?

Big news: they reportedly doubled the about of memory that's in the device (it was always half as much of the 6700)!

That's huge news if true as the biggest complaint of of the 700W was the limited memory....

It won't be enough to give up my 6700, a far better phone than the Tinyo 700p/w. The keys are too tiny, the memory is still small and no Wi-Fi built in.

This device I am holding on to, until Sprint rolls out Wi-Max 4G technology in late 2007.

That is great news about the memory. Now will it have A2DP, or will the hack work? And of course will it have Voice or Data priority?

not sure about A2DP but I'm going with 90% sure 'yes' it can.

also, A2DP is reporetedly going to be rolled out officially in AKU 3.0 which should be released w/in the next 3 months (though carriers won't be done testing it till the end of the year). The big question is will we get that? Dunno.

The Voice/Data priority will be real interesting: if it's Voice then the 6700 is a bug and should be fixed (I read that Sprint is working on it, but that's a rumor)--if not, then we know that it's Sprint's policy.

I'll most definitely keep my 6700 but I like the idea of a 700wx!
