Help with Internet! PLEASE!

I have the newest version of Opera in my phone but my question is, Is there ANY way that I can set it up so when I click the "globe" on the internet tab it will open the new version of Opera? It is still opening the version that came with the phone. For example if I wanted to change to click the "globe" to open IE is there a way to do this? I would imagine there is but I am still a noob at these phones. Thanks ALOT for any help.
