If you look at that page, it seems as if those specs are for the original touch... Dunno.

You're right that those are the specs of the HTC Touch. On the link you provided, except for the picture of the Diamond, everything else is HTC Touch info (including the rebate, the 3D view, Features, and Technical specs) as shown in this HTC Touch link: http://www.alltel.com/wps/portal/All...uch/htc+touch/

Perhaps since Alltell is merging with Verizon, Verizon will get this similar model.

Wishful thinking Tiberius, though I really do hope you are right. Based on the current "knowledge", it may be white colored with a Diamond faceted back, and with "gimped" hardware. I'm not too happy about this.

1) I don't think the Alltel Diamond will have a microSD slot. As stated above, the specs listed in the link above are for the Alltel Touch, which has a microSD slot.

2) Based on information I have gathered over the past few weeks from PPCGeeks.com, the back of the Alltel Diamond should be dark grey. I think it should be similar to the Telus back, as shown in this review: http://www.howardchui.com/2008/09/30...d-cdma-review/, though I'm not sure if it will be a lighter grey color. Regardless, it looks very nice and professional to me!
