Has anyone been able get operamini installed?
Ive tried 3 different roms with the esmestec java pre-installed and none of them have worked with operamini. I even tried googlemaps java version with streetview and that didnt work either. It always says File error??? On the stock sprint rom, which didnt come with java preloaded, I installed it manually and operamini worked. Anyone else???????

Re: Has anyone been able get operamini installed?
There is a cab file that installs Java and opera mini at the same time. I have it installed on my Diamond and Opera mini works fine. I dont remebr then name but it stats with GC 1.2.6 . If you cant find it, ill email it to you when I get home.

I think tobeychris is right. Operamini as I understand it is an application used for phones. Smartphones and PDAs use Opera Mobile. That might be your problem.

I like Opera Mini for the page up and page down with the d-pads. It's crucial to me for easy reading.

For casual browsing, OperaMini is at least twice as fast. Less lag as well.
