Can I run a Diamond Backup on the Touch Pro

I have the Diamond, but im thinking about returning it when the pro comes out, can i just backup my flashed juicy 2.1 rom and reflash it onto the pro since its the same phone just with a keyboard and a memory card correct?

You can do whatever you want.

Probably not advised though. Why would the diamond know how to take input from a hardware keyboard?
