Just got 800w rookie needing assist

hey guys i got the phone on tue and so far no real big issues.
i went from a pm-8200.

this is my first palm windows mobile phone and was wondering where to start on custom apps, etc.

also having trouble connecting with usb on xp pro 64bit, havnt tried 32bit yet.
has anyone else had trouble???

what links can i go to so i will no longer be a rookie. i like to customize windows, etc.

Suggest you look at some of the sticky threads in the Titan and Vogue forums - a lot of the tweaks will also apply to the 800w.

well, depending on what "type" of customization ur looking for...once u kno that, then seek and ye shall find..i've had a 800w since august..if u have ne questions, feel free to holla at me

Big change from the Sanyo. My suggestion is to read the boards and take it slowly if you are not too familiar with the mobile platform or else you may be doing some hard resets on a regular basis. As for your USB issue, Palm put out a patch for this a while back. Here is the website:

yeah, just let us know exactly what you want to do with your phone and we'll all be able to help out a lot more. I've been coming across a few cool GPS apps that are pretty cool and if our phone had an accelerometer I could be having some real fun!
