pocket hack master problems
I am having some weird problems.
I installed pocket hack master on my 6700 and I set the cpu to scale up to 520. then when it actually needs to scale up, it locks up my phone and I hafta reset. anyone else ever experience this? |

I dont like PHM. I always had problems with it. Now I dont know how to help you on this one but what i do reccomend is that you use XCPUScalar. Its much easier. Plus even if you set your phone to autoscale it is still going to drain your battery because you are fighting your phone, because the phone automatically scales itself. So if you are going to overclock it, then go all the way.

PHM is in a flux state right now...Anton (the developer) is working on a new version that is more WM5 compatible as the old one has many stability issues. When and if he fixes some issues, it'll be great, but until then, listen to cac9478 and try XCPUScalar...basically its perfect.

thanks for the advice.
ihave used xcpu scalar and set it to 624 and it runs great. I just thought I would give phm a try to find what's right for me. I am definitely going back to xcpuscalar. I also tried sd autostep, a program created by a dude at pdaphonehome but on the 6700 it appears only to scale to 520 on wakeup. and when I tried it I noticed way better performance with xcpuscalr. thanks guys |

Most common: can overclock to 512 More uncommon: can overclock to 624 Very uncommon: can't overclock at all Just depends on which batch you have. (actually, I just tried mine for the heck of it and mine can do 624 as well. I have to admit, it performs ridiculously at that speed!) |

The battery performs better if you keep it set to one speed. Auto scale = more battery drail?
