Ive seen articles suggesting that Verizon will have it available soon as part of a Microsoft bundled package. When is "soon" when referring to Verizon is anybodys guess.

I hear it's mid April, but what will Verizon take out of the ROM?
I on the other hand am hoping somebody will make a custom ROM. I will sale my 6700 hemli with extras to pay for the custom ROM for my i760. I would try and learn to do it myself but it's the only phone I have connected and no house phone so my wife would beat me (hmmmm), lol

WM6.1 is postted on the Samsung site. It also fixes the memory leak caused by hte digital clock on the today screen

Loaded the WM 6.1 update - no problem at all. Make sure you backup up EVERYTHING as it clears all you folders. It either left my SD Hack alone or 6.1 can now address 4GB. Good luck.

6.1 can address more than 4gb. I have a SanDisk 8gb installed with no hack. It reads it all and with no errors.

The easiest way is to call VZW tech Suppt at 866-221-4096 (direct line to Data support), enter your phone #, then select option 3. Ask the nice person on the phone for the link to get the downloader for either XP or Vista.

One note of caution, back up EVERYTHING before doing it, make sure your battery is fullly charged, and follow the instructions EXACTLY, else you may turn this little beauty into a paperweight.
