Another question for ROM chefs

Ok, so I have my kitchen right...no matter what I do, autorun refused to run at all.

1. initflashfiles.dat copy CheckAutorun.lnk to Startup folder - checked
2. RegEdit for AutoRunCFG value to \Windows\config.txt - checked
3. RegEdit for AutoRunFlag value to 0 - checked
4. Config.txt properly handled - checked.
5. RegEdit for AutoRun value to \Windows\autorun.exe - checked

Upon hard reset, it never fires up and AutorunFlag is set to 1 already after a hard reset. So now, if I go into regedit and change it to 0 and invoke the CheckAutoRun manually, it runs just fine.

Any ideas please????
