Anyone know where to find CE OS 5.2.19?

Some of the custom 6.1 ROMs I've tried have CE OS 5.2.1620 and others have CE OS 5.2.18125

Someone mentioned that there's a CE OS 5.2.19 floating around somewhere. Is the currently the latest build? If so, where can we get it?

The latest builds (19xxx) are any of the WM6.1 ROMs. It seems the 18xxx and below builds are WM6.0

One of the 6.1 ROMs I tried showed as CE OS 5.2.18125 when I went to the "about" screen. It also said WM 6.1 during startup after a reset. All of the 6.1 ROMs I've tried here don' show as a 19xxx build. They're all lower 18xxx builds.

Sounds like you aren't using a No2Chem build. I used his kit and I have a build of 19199 just like him!

He imported the newest XIP he could find.

Sorry, I guess "build" is the wrong term. Here's my post from that other thread:

Wow so this ROM by itself installs everything originally found on the Sprint Touch (w/ WM6.1) EXCEPT for the Sprint stuff?

I've just installed this ROM. I noticed in the about screen that it lists this as: CE OS 5.2.1620

This is where my knowledge starts to drop off. From what I guess the 18xxx-19xxx build numbers relate to the XIP and the total progress of the OS. I use this number as the basis of how the OS is progressing. I don't pay attention to the 5.2.1620 stuff.

If someone knows more about this, please correct me if I am wrong.

My understanding is there are 2 parts, the CE Kernel and the Operating System.

We are using the Windows Mobile 6.1 port operating system from No2Chem ( i.e. The OEM and SYS Folder )

The CE kernel portion is extracted from a Stock Sprint ROM ( i.e. the PrepIt.bat ) part of the DogGuy Kitchen and is the .NB file.

When the two are merged they create a Windows Mobile 6.1 Operating system running on CE Kernel.

This is just a theory.

As a test, I took BRLE's XIP Port and used the .NB.EXTRA and .NB.PAYLOAD in the ROM folder and the SYS and OEM folders from No2Chem.

The result was a CE Version 5.2.1933 ( From BRLE ) and a build of 19199.1.0.0 No2 ( from No2Chem ).

Again, I am not an expert, just an observation.
