My i760 keeps asking for a password

Everytime I try to access the internet it keeps asking for a password.

It works once in a blue moon but for the most part it does not seem to store the pass.

I called Verizon and they said return it but I got it for free and I can't.

I have a 6700 that has been upgraded and it wouldn't be terrible if I had to go back to that but I REALLY want to get this to work.

Can I edit the registry or something?

I have tried a hard reset but no luck.

Any advice would be appreciate.
