What is this and how do I disable it?

I just burned a new ROM from DogGuy's kitchen and now have a running item tab at the top, beside the Windows icon. Even though I have QuickMenu set to not replace the start menu, whatever this is doesn't let me use the start menu, because it's covered up. Also, when nothing is running, there is a separator bar so I still can't access the start menu.

So what is it and how do I disable it?

Yes, I know what the screen is. I chose to show that screen just to show that QuickMenu is not set to replace the Start menu.

I'm trying to find out what the icon/tab/button/whatever is above it. It lists whatever program is active and doesn't allow me to use the Start menu. Even when nothing is running, there is a blank tab there with a divider bar.

It does sound like wktask. Look in \Windows\Startup and see whats listed. Delete (or move) anything you down want starting up and reboot.

Wktask was in the ROM. I went back to another ROM until this could be figured out. I'll cook another one without it, and try again. Thanks guys! =D>
