WiFi Stopped Working

Since I upped my radio to 1.4 I have had a problem with my WiFi not enabling. I am using ROMS cooked up in DCD's Kitchen 1.6.9 and 1.6.10 and am using the 10 Button Kaiser style CommManager. When I turn WiFi on it turns back off within a second or two. I am having the same problem in either ROM and I just re-flashed the Stock 2.09 Verizon ROM back in and although there is no WiFi button on the CommManager the WiFi status is saying off when I look at the advanced tab of the Wireless LAN settings.

I am reasonably sure this started when I went to Radio 1.4 as WiFi used to work for me. I have also gone up to and back down from the 2.13 radio and that does not seem to affect the issue. This confuses me because I read other threads where folks talk about WiFi in both of these radio versions.

Has anyone else seen symptoms such as this?

Thanks,
Ks.

Oh boy, I should have thought of this.

Someone pointed out the obvious to me and the symptoms certainly fit their diagnosis. The WiFi Slider Switch was off. As an ex-6700 user I absolutely forgot about that dang switch. All is working again.

I hate doing stupid things.

The slider switch on the side of the 6800 that enables and disables the WiFi was off, I turned it on.

Mine's not working even with the switch on either. Any suggestions? I've extensively dealt with all of the software settings on my device and I'm at a dead end. There must be an actual driver issue going on here. I'm using dcd 1.6.10 also. help please??
