spam folder/activation links
wow, I just see a lot of emails to wideawake and myself asking how to get activated and why they can't post anything!
Is there anything we can do to show the noobs that most of the time the link is sent to the spam folder. Is there a message we can broadcast at the top of the page telling them this? I know it will help bring lots of new members, b/c theres about 500 people waiting on the link, and it's in their spam folders!

I've never done a VB board, but phpBB can do a banner at the top. I know that if you aren't logged in on the board you get a yellow banner asking you to register. Maybe it can be added to that banner.

I have added a Global Announcement that will display on every forum at the top, hopefully users that are not registered will see this and read it.
