Overclocking the Mogul/Titan 6800

Does anyone know how to, tried to, or know if it is even possible right now?

I have heard the qualcomm processor in the Titan/Mogul is equipped with more than one core, and so attempts to overclock would be highly complicated in the least.

But please search to confirm this...

this processor , sucks in this phone , the 6700 was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much faster and I have hack the hell out of the 6800, the only thing that makes the 6800 useable is if you use the wm5 rom on this thing , no overclocking is killing me

6800 cpu is great. It's the software that has yet to optimize the processor.

It's like having a PC with a 64bit cpu but no 64 bit software.

I'm using this nutility to overclock me mogul.
Hope it helps.

My Mogul operates just as fast as my 6700 did and I have MANY more tweaks & apps installed on this device. Considering what I have ladened it with, I have really been impressed with it's continued operation and performance.

sandiegodude,

You have successfully overclocked your Mogul? What differences in performance have you seen?

Yea I read that thread,, A buddy at my job bought a Mogul after seeing mine and hearing me rant and rave about it.. I recommended this forum too and he wanted to ramp up the hardware... I'm willing to try this but I cant locate the rom it references to extract the exe....can you post it ??? HERE ...with your results

Wink It WORKS!!!

No probs so far.
There are two options-520 (i think) and 624 mhz, I'm running at 624, no sweat.
Haven't had a lockup yet.- going on 3 days.
Battery life seems to drain faster. But it totally outweighs the pros.
The only time when I would turn off the oc'ing utility is if I'd be away from the charger all day.

P.S. I'm at a coffeshop right now using my internet sharing on my laptop. I love this phone!!!

The actual results of the HTC Performance are not proven. I did not see any improvement when running it. There was one user who ran some tests and did not see any speed improvement with it running.

Some swear that it works while others say its psychological, so give it and try and judge for yourself.
