Data Roaming PRL 20025

I can confirm it works in houston texas. On verizon for that matter. Also if u go into hybrid mode and force it to connect to evdo it will connect to evdo if u leave it set to hybrid it will only connect to 1x. Whats funny is it took almost a week after the prl update before i could data roam.......

I wonder if this is the same problem Im having, I had been able to data roam on 1x before the update. After the update, no roaming, just connection error. Then I went back and tried the old roms and older prl with little luck. I could with the older prl do data roaming on 1x. But after going back it appears to work when it wants to then sometimes gives me the same crap the new prl is giving me. What a waste, the first time I see a Ev on my phone, and me cant use it

Maybe I will get lucky like you and it just starts working. I sure do hope so. :P

yea for some reason data roaming doesnt appear to work on these phones. I have a 700wx and it works almost everywhere. the 830 doesnt. I dont know why not and what the difference is but its anoying.

my data roaming started working awhile back and I'm using alltels evdo :P

strange mine still doesnt work on my 830. now on my 700wx works like a champ but not on the 830
