Cannot Sync
I have been using Active Sync 4.2 till today with only a slight problem here and there (It would "disconnect" even though it was still connected.
Tonight, it would not connect at all. I tried to delete and reinstall, and then I downloaded ActiveSync 4.5 and still does not make the connection. Any ideas what could be wrong? I am using a Treo 750v Thanks, |

I did a Hard Reset, which seemed to solve the problem. ActiveSync does seem flaky.

just seen this topic but yea activsync is very "flaky". that's why I don't use it anymore. I just sync with mail2web now.

ActiceSync "disconnected while still connected via USB
I have experienced problems where ActiveSync would "disconnect" even though it was still connected via USB. Came across this fix, and the problem went away.

I had a problem with Activesync but that was caused by my firewall. When my firewall was active and my laptop was connected to the web activesync couldn't find the Treo. When I disabled the firewall it worked again. Made some changes to the firewall and now all is good.
