Tip: Removing Voicemail from Speed Dial

Useful tip worth sharing I found from a fellow Treonaut:-

Use a registry editor and change the registry value "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Palm\Varnish\SpeedDialPlugin\VoiceM ail\IngoreSIM" to 1 (decimal value)

Then change the value of "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Palm\Varnish\SpeedDialPlugin\VoiceM ail\Deletable"
to 1 (decimal value)

Then go to the Speedial options
Click on "Voicemail" button to edit it and select a contact with a Photo
Click option for Picture speed dial
Voicemail is now gone, and u are left with only your contact picture speeddials

sweet this will work for those of us using the treo speed dial today plugin. Thanks for posting!

On the Treo 750v, there seems to be an easier way if you use Photo Speed Dial. I simply enter the voice mail number in my own contact record, then select that for the voice mail with my photo, and that removes the button speed dial.
