Quick 2 Net (Q2N) possible?

So is Q2N possible on the i760? I have wifi at work and at home so I only need data for emergencies on the road, and would like to avoid paying the ridiculous pay as you go prices. I posted the same question at

http://pdaphonehome.com/forums/samsu...-q2n-i760.html

and got no luck. anyone here give it a try yet? Thanks!

no, all data on a pda device counts towards your data regardless of how you connect if you're using the vzw network.

You can use data and just pay for data without also paying the tethering fee if you follow the directions in my abandoned i760 guide thread

that wasn't true of the i730. q2n on the i730 used the cellular radio as a dialup and did not get charged for data. q2n simply uses your minutes, which at night and weekend was free.

unfortunately, it looks like the i760 doesn't support q2n. if anyone can figure out q2n on the i760, i'd be eternally grateful!
