ok try and delete the mui file...

tried deleting it using total commander...but it won't let me delete it. Is there a different program i should be using?

try adding .bak to the end of the extension

haha...was a worthy effort. The wierd thing is the crazier looking taskbars on xda register the volume changes just fine, but the more regular looking taskbars like this one and spike's don't.
