Re: Touch Pro CDMA Hard-SPL brought to you by CDMA Raphael Elite Team

The sequence for getting past the 262 error for me was:

loaded sspl-manual.exe on the phone - ran it twice - error message first time, black screen the second time.

Ran it a third time several hours later, phone went into bootloader

Tried running ROMUpdateUtility.exe - stuck at 0%

Reset everything, turned off Windows firewall

ran sspl-manual again

Said small prayer to Data Gods

Ran RUU again - suddenly had 100%!

Slaughtered small goat as way of giving thanks to Data Gods.

It seems the only working solution is to 'Keep Trying' - and pray.

Re: Touch Pro CDMA Hard-SPL brought to you by CDMA Raphael Elite Team

Had some issues unlocking as well. I previously had a diamond. I read on here somewhere that switching the USB port that the phone is plugged into would work. I switched to a different USB port and it worked fine.
I guess because it was used to seeing the Diamond on that port?? lol
So try switching to a different USB port if yer having an issue. good luck

Re: Touch Pro CDMA Hard-SPL brought to you by CDMA Raphael Elite Team

Man... Excuse me for being an idiot noob, but I'm having trouble flashing my t-pro (verizon). Downloaded "Verizon_HSPL_Package" and extracted everything, updated .net, Ran "Raphael_VZW_HSPL_035" with the phone activesynced, it seems to run, verfies my current rom version number and the version # in spl, but when it starts to flash, it just sits there for about 20 seconds, and then says it failed due to error #202 (failed to connect). Even tried copying the sspl-manual .exe over to the phone's storage card and running that, but it won't run. Just gives me an exception error. Any ideas? Kinda stumped. Thanks in advance!

OK so I got it to work, it's unlocked now. The unlocker had to be ran as administrator.

Now the problem remains: Kitchen only lets me flash for AT&T, no sprint as my carrier

Re: Touch Pro CDMA Hard-SPL brought to you by CDMA Raphael Elite Team

Hi, sorry for what's probably a dumb question...

I'm waiting for my new Sprint TP to arrive. My regional carrier will flash/unlock the phone with Houdini for use on their network.

Would the flash here still be required before loading a custom rom? If so, will flashing this file interfere with whatever settings Houdini changed to get the phone working on my regional provider's network?

Thanks!

Re: Touch Pro CDMA Hard-SPL brought to you by CDMA Raphael Elite Team

FYI:

I just got my TP replaed at Sprint, so of course the first thing I did was unlock the mother. This is exactly what I did when I got the 262 No connection Error.

I restarted my phone and made sure that the option for advanced network functionality under USB Connections was Unchecked.

I then switched the USB port my cord was plugged into.

Then i did what I think fixed the problem... I removed my Memory Card from the phone.

I plugged it in... Started up the unlocker.. and wonderfully worked.

Also.. Im on Windows7.... so it should be a cake for every other OS.
