Re: SPC/MSL code of sprint diamond
The only way that I was able to get my SPC was to use the method described above (Registry hack).
Getspc.exe did not work with any values at all.. The registry edit only took about 1 hour. |

Re: SPC/MSL code of sprint diamond
Yeah, the registry is a pretty simple way... if you use a good registry editor. I was able to get it in about 20 minutes. Just the time it take you to open the program, make the registry change, restart and repeat.

Re: SPC/MSL code of sprint diamond
So i'm trying to get my Sprint Diamond working with Alltel. I have the Phone unlocked, I have the MSL, and I have the ROM on the root directory. Do I need to Change the MSL to all Zeros for this to work? And if so how do I do it. I did the ##778# and was able to get in, I just can't find where to change it.
Thanks in advance! |

Re: SPC/MSL code of sprint diamond
Is the MSL number attached to a phone to the account? If I change my phone will the MSL number be same or will it be a new one? Any idea?

When I activated my Diamond on Sprint's website I just wrote down the "Secondary Lock Key" number from the manual programming page...I don't know if this is always the case but that is the MSL for my phone. This was verified later when I was talking to a Sprint rep and he gave me the MSL to do something. So I guess if some of you REALLY want to avoid talking to Sprint you could activate your old phone online then go right back and swap to your new phone, click on manual programming instructions and write down the "Secondary Lock Key" number. |
