Missing HHC Tab

I just did a rom upgrade on my touch and of course it hard reset and I re-installed my apps. The problem now is with my HTC Home customizer I can only get 4 tabs. I am missing the launch music player tab that I use with the htc audio manager. I had saved all my installs to my storage card before the hard reset and installed everything I had before but am I missing something somekind of home plugin ?

Any ideas

Thanks

Re: Missing HHC Tab

I have the same problem. When i ran HHC the first time after the update it said something about unable to find tab something or other, and you might not be able to use this function. So I can only get the four tabs as well.

I had the same probs. Had to get a 1.7xxxxxxxx or something version of the today plugin. Try that.

That's the one I tried, hence why I recommended an older version.

Re: Missing HHC Tab

I actually fixed it by installing this file. Soft reset then worked with hhc and got my audio plugin tab.

Re: Missing HHC Tab

I tried installing the Kaiser Home file. And I'm still not able to get 6 tabs to show. I can't get more than 5 tabs to show. Am I doing something wrong?

Re: Missing HHC Tab

you didn't do anything wrong. the problem is because the cube has the contact dialer, the home plugin does not take the registry edit. I'm not sure if anyone found a workaround for it yet.

Using the new kitchen for the Vogue, the HTC home plugin shows all 6 tabs and it has the cube contact dialer too.
However for some reason when entering contacts into the cube dialer only some show up on the favorites tab.

Re: Missing HHC Tab

the problem with using a different Home plugin is that it won't be compatible with the way the touch is set up to read the weather.xml file. As far as I can tell, Schen and basically every other Home plugin reads the weather.xml in a different directory (I think it's called HTCHOME, not sure) while the Touch uses one out of the stock windows directory. I havent tried making a custom folder to experiment but was hoping someone could post their experience
