YesSSSSS!!! IT WORKS. That is the answer.... A new ver of wmodem. Of course make sure you have the usual registry changes for tether detection. but o/w oh yess.. here we go with nonNATed ip again

if any op reads this, please have this file in a sticky thread by itself. I guess we can have this in the mogul and tp1 thread too, although those guys probably can still use the older 2.25 wmodem but looks like TP2 you have to have v 2.59 wmodem to work..
