Re: [ROM] <!-- Psyki 3 - Build 090629 -- Custom Glass Rhodium Manila --!> (WM6.1 2105
I may have found the issue with the ringer volume. The past few months, I've been copying my PIM.VOL file into the new ROMs so I wouldn't lose the ringtone settings for each of my contacts. That information is not transferred by ActiveSync. If I use PIM Backup and then sync, I get duplicate contacts for everyone. It's a royal pain.
I noticed after going from a 6.5 ROM to a 6.1 ROM, there were some other issues that popped up. So I used PIM Backup on my contacts only and restored it to a fresh 6.5 installation. The volume was not a low as it was before. It's something to do with the PIM.VOL file between versions. I had noticed that my PIM.VOL file had been growing in size over the past few months. I didn't think much of it at first. After flashing several times a week, I figured it was normal. After the back up and restore, my 19mb file went down to less than 3mb. I know it dropped the People tab info, but all of my contacts are back. I just wish there was some easy way to get rid of duplicates.

Man Psyki. I have nevery been a huge fan of pre built roms since I like to cook in only certain apps and then install the others that have regular updates but your rom has proven to be the most reliable over the long haul. (Kitchens always seam to break my phone after a period of time. No idea why) Your Beta 3 was great but it did have a small problem when I went to answer a call. The phone would lockup for about 10 seconds after turning on the screen so you would go to answer a call, but if you did not slide to answer right as the phone came on, it will probably not unlock and answer before It gets sent to voicemail. Now in Beta 4 I cannot see who I am in a call with :/ but it has no lockup issues and it does run even smoother and faster then Beta 3. Keep up the good work. Also thanks for putting in a Album that can upload to facebook since it comes in extremely handy when I am on long Motorcycle rides and want to keep friends and family in the loop quickly.

Just thought I'd report on my battery situation. It doesn't seem that my original findings were a fluke. I still get 2 full days of battery life and then some. I typically take my phone off the charger some time around 6am. I do not charge it that night. At the end of the second day I do put it on the charger, but it's still around 50% when I do
