Just thought I'd throw my 2 cents in...

As an avid user of torrent sites, I pirate a lot of stuff. BUT (before anyone starts cursing me), I also believe in supporting the people that make something really worthwhile (normally this consists of me buying merch, going to shows, etc).

That being said, I would gladly donate to see this happen. I love modding anything I can get my grubby lil hands on, and my Treo Pro could definitely be fun now that I'm getting bored with my iPod touch, lol.

I know I'm not the only one willing to donate to the cause, so there should be plenty of financial incentive to get this done! Not that I'm rushing it or anything.

I got sent a link to this thread in a PM at XDA.

I guess I can say nothing new though, for now. I'll stay in contact with the guys who PM'd me at XDA (and perhaps the guy who offered 1000 USD ) and sort things that way, as I don't visit ppcgeeks that often, beyond posting the unlockers etc.
