the boot splash would need to be flashed, causing a hard reset. You could do what dew.man said, take any rom, use nbhtool to split it up into .nb's, then put it back togther w/ your new .nb bootsplashs.....or just flash this....

this will flash the stock HTC boot splash, and hard reset ya, but it will not flash the rom (WM).

keep in mind, if/when you flash a rom, if it has different boot splash's, it will overwrite the stock.
