I just left the Verizon corporate store in downtown Seattle. I told them I wanted this phone really bad and asked them how I could get it fastest. The rep looked it up & told me the following:

* It will be available for DIRECT FULFILLMENT ONLY on 9/11
* Meaning, they will not have it physically in the store for sale
* In lieu of telesales or online, I can come in to the store and order it, but it will be SHIPPED directly to my address or the store (whichever I choose).
* Saturday delivery is available for extra $$$
* Even though she said it probably wouldn't work, she still tried to order it today. The warehouse came back and said it showed $99,000 in their system, which is code for not available yet.

so if they carry this phone in stores on Friday, I will split half that crow with tech.
