any of you run tomtom 7?

Hey Im working on my teachers omnia 910 that he just got tryin to get tomtom 7 working. I got it to "waiting for valid signal" or whatever it says but it never gets a lock. Any solutions? Im htc guy so not to familiar with the omnia

you first need to upgrade to the newest Official rom, or unofficial rom. make sure your running CF03 Rom, and if your not than thats your problem. only VZW navigator will work on the older rom.

also go to start>settings>personal>phone>services>gps
and make sure location on is on

Just installed TT7 on an i900, so I don't know if it would be the same. Got the "Poor GPS signal" each time, even though Garmin XT would get a lock in about 5-10 secs.

As blackmeto mentioned, I tried GPSgate to see if this would work, and hey presto, lock very quickly. You can get a trial at http://gpsgate.com/index.php?id=7. Word of warning though, any GPS portsplitter programs like GPSgate will chew the battery no end, so make sure you've got the phone on charge when you're using TT7.

what i do now is run gpsgate to get the initial lock and then uninstall it and install cgps
no prollems so far

So how do I get tom tom to work, I had it on my mogul. Now with the Omnia I can even get it to open. Can someone please tell me what Im doing wrong.
